It’s been an eventful week for Charley Hull, both on and off the golf course. The former Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year recently took a brief hiatus from the LPGA Tour to recharge, as exhaustion and some persistent blisters had taken a toll. Hull explained that she was dealing with 13 blisters on her hands, worsened by her sensitivity to humidity and heat, which left her struggling to play comfortably.
“I kind of struggle with the heat,” Hull shared via Sportskeeda. “I’m actually allergic to the humidity. My hands swelled up yesterday, and I had to pull out of the pro-am after nine holes. I’ve got 13 blisters on both hands, which is annoying because I just seriously swell during the heat. It’s tricky.”
Hull returned to form at this week’s Maybank Championship, managing a solid performance despite the setbacks and currently sitting at five-under par. Her resilience in these conditions has impressed fans, even as she works her way back to full health on the tour.
While Hull focuses on her game, she’s also having a little fun outside of golf.
On Friday night, she shared a glamorous photo of herself in a chic “date night” dress, giving fans a glimpse of her off-the-course style. The 28-year-old has been known for her stunning looks on Instagram, though she doesn’t actually manage her account directly. “I don’t have access to my Instagram — I stopped being on my Instagram about six months ago,” Hull told reporters, per the New York Post. “It’s unbelievable how much my followers have gained — I didn’t realize how many I have. I think it’s pretty cool.”

Hull remains a fan favorite, even during a bit of a slump on the LPGA Tour. Since her last win at the Volunteers of America Classic in 2022, she’s had a few close calls but hasn’t clinched another title. Yet, her charm and interaction with fans keep her in the spotlight, both in person and online.
As Hull competes in the Maybank Championship and works to regain her winning form, fans are hopeful she’ll soon find herself back in the winner’s circle.
With her recent rest and a dedicated focus on self-care, she’s poised to make an impact.
