After defeating boxing legend Mike Tyson on Friday night, Jake Paul celebrated his victory in the center of the AT&T Stadium ring. It was a significant moment for Jake, as he had just accomplished a feat that many thought impossible. However, his brother, Logan Paul, managed to steal some of the attention—and not in the best way.
While Jake was basking in the glory of his triumph, Logan attempted to add to the celebration by spraying his brother with W body spray, a brand they had been promoting. In the midst of his enthusiasm, Logan accidentally knocked Jake’s hat off his head, creating an awkward and embarrassing moment for the victorious boxer. The hat tumbled to the canvas, causing an uncomfortable pause in what should have been Jake’s big celebration.
On Monday, Logan took to Instagram to address the incident, offering an apology—or at least, something resembling one. In his video, Logan explained that his intentions were good and that he simply wanted to help promote Jake’s W body spray brand. He chalked up the mishap to his over-exuberance and his “poor motor skills.”
“I was just trying to help Jake promote his W body spray, but my enthusiasm and my poor motor skills got the best of me,” Logan, 29, said in the Instagram video. “I knocked his hat off from the back and it went to the floor.
“I felt so stupid. Jake, I’m sorry. I ruined one of the biggest moments of your life. But guess what, buddy, you smelled great thanks to me… Sorry, Jake.”

Though Logan’s apology seemed genuine, it was also laced with humor, making it hard to take entirely seriously. His light-hearted comment about Jake smelling great left many wondering if this was the best apology Jake was going to get. But for those who know Logan, the mix of sincerity and humor is entirely in line with his personality.
Logan Paul is no stranger to the ring himself. The 29-year-old has had his fair share of moments in the boxing world, boasting a record of 1-1. He even stepped into the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a high-profile exhibition match.
Though Logan didn’t officially win that fight, his ability to go the distance with one of the greatest boxers of all time earned him significant respect. His lone win came against Conor McGregor’s longtime friend Dillon Danis, albeit via disqualification, in July of last year.
Outside of boxing, Logan Paul has kept himself busy in the world of professional wrestling. He’s been working closely with WWE and even held the United States Championship title for a considerable nine-month stretch before dropping the belt to LA Knight at SummerSlam this past August. His wrestling career has seen him embrace the role of a showman, a characteristic that certainly came through in his over-the-top celebration of Jake’s victory.
Adding another layer of drama to the weekend, Mike Tyson himself called out Logan following his defeat to Jake.
The legendary boxer, clearly looking for a rematch or another opportunity, set his sights on Logan, which could potentially lead to another headline-grabbing bout. Logan, never one to shy away from a challenge or a spectacle, might very well be interested in making something happen with Tyson.
Despite the mishap, Jake Paul’s victory over Mike Tyson remains a monumental achievement in his boxing career.
While Logan’s antics may have caused a brief distraction, the focus ultimately remains on Jake’s impressive performance and his continued rise in the boxing world.
As for Logan, his apology—sincere or not—will likely become just another chapter in the ongoing saga of the Paul brothers, who continue to make waves in both the boxing ring and the entertainment industry.
