Paul Skenes might bring high energy to the mound, but his enthusiasm doesn’t quite translate to his girlfriend Olivia “Livvy” Dunne’s TikTok videos.
However, Dunne takes it all in stride, displaying a good sense of humor about the situation, as seen in one of her latest posts on the popular platform.
In a video posted Monday from the private jet Skenes and Dunne took to the MLB All-Star Game in Arlington, Texas, the Pirates pitcher made a minimal effort while the LSU gymnast and social media influencer energetically mouthed the words to the audio accompanying the post.
The contrasting vibes between the couple prompted a social media user to comment, “That’s probably the most effort he could give. Way to go Paul,” punctuated with a crying laughing emoji.

Dunne responded with a light-hearted comment, “He doesn’t know how to tik the tok.”
Skenes has appeared in several of Dunne’s TikTok posts, where she boasts 8 million followers. One notable post showed Dunne decorating Skenes’ apartment with balloons and bringing pizza to celebrate his selection to the MLB All-Star Game. Another post from May featured Skenes with the caption: “POV: you both wake up from a nap and find out he’s in the MLB.”
Dunne was present for the MLB All-Star festivities, dazzling on the red carpet alongside a stylish Skenes and cheering him on during his inning on the mound.
The Pittsburgh rookie impressed with seven pitches clocking at 98.2 mph or harder, five of which exceeded 99.6 mph.
Before the All-Star Game, Dunne expressed her admiration for Skenes’ pitching abilities, echoing the sentiments of many baseball fans regarding his powerful throws. “My brain can’t even process how hard he throws,” Dunne said on the red carpet. “It is incredible and it’s such a joy to watch. He’s a great baseball player, but an even better person.”
Despite Skenes’ subdued participation in her TikToks, Dunne continues to support and celebrate his baseball career, showcasing their strong relationship both on and off the field.
