Pirates star rookie Paul Skenes has quickly become one of the most talked-about players in Major League Baseball this season, but his girlfriend, Livvy Dunne, is no stranger to the spotlight either. The 21-year-old influencer and gymnast made quite an impression at Fanatics Fest on Saturday, held at the Javits Center in New York City, by stepping into the shoes—or rather, the uniform—of her MLB star boyfriend.
Dunne fully embraced the baseball spirit by donning Skenes’ No. 30 Pirates jersey and even taking to the mound to throw a pitch.
Adding a playful twist to her appearance, she sported a fake mustache, mimicking Skenes’ signature look. While her pitch wasn’t exactly a fastball, it was all in good fun and followed by a brief gymnastics routine and a striking pose, showcasing her athletic talents.
Skenes, who is 22 years old, has indeed lived up to the immense expectations surrounding his rookie season. With a record of 7-2, a 2.30 ERA, and 121 strikeouts in just 98 innings, he has established himself as a formidable presence on the mound. However, despite his impressive performances, the Pirates have struggled this season, currently holding a 58-64 record, which puts their playoff hopes in doubt.

Dunne, on the other hand, continues to shine in her own right as a member of the LSU Tigers women’s gymnastics team. A former USA national team member, she has built a massive following both for her gymnastics skills and her vibrant presence on social media.
Together, Dunne and Skenes make a power couple, each excelling in their respective fields. While Skenes dominates the baseball diamond, Dunne continues to inspire with her gymnastics prowess and influence.
Their appearance at Fanatics Fest was a perfect blend of their worlds, with Dunne’s playful tribute to Skenes adding to the event’s excitement and further solidifying her status as a star in her own right.
