LIV Golf member Harold Varner III was reportedly arrested in Charlotte on Thursday night, as per multiple reports.
According to WBTV News, court documents indicate that Varner was driving on Providence Road “while subject to an impairing substance.”

During a breathalyzer test, Varner, aged 33, registered a .16 BAC, which is twice the legal limit. Subsequently, he was booked at Mecklenburg County jail. Varner’s bond, as per court records, was set at $500, and the Akron native has already been released.
As of the latest information, Varner is scheduled to appear in court on January 19, 2024.
As of now, LIV Golf has not issued a statement regarding Varner’s arrest.
Before joining LIV Golf, Varner spent several years on the PGA Tour. While he has only secured three professional wins in his career, he has demonstrated competitiveness at prestigious events such as the PGA Championship and the Masters in recent years.
