Anthony Kim is one of us!
The LIV golfer hadn’t played a professional golf event in over 12 years after he mysteriously disappeared following Achilles surgery in 2012 that was only expected to sideline him for a year.
Well, Kim is now back following the world’s longest recovery from Achilles surgery.

However, he appeared quite rusty as he finished in last place at a LIV Golf event in Saudi Arabia and had this epic shank that is relatable to most any non-professional who has played golf before.
Kim shot a +6 and finished 14 strokes behind the leader Joaquin Neimann.
LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman blamed the shank on a drone flying overhead that distracted Kim.
Kim broke onto the PGA Tour in 2006 and won three tournaments between 2008 and 2010 as he rose to as high as No. 6 in the world rankings at one point.
However, Kim suffered an Achilles injury which required surgery in 2012 and seemingly retreated from the public eye.
Now, he’s officially back with LIV and we can expect some improvement in future tournaments as he knocks the rust off.
