LIV Golf professional Pat Perez and his wife, Ashley, known for their vibrant presence in the golfing community, seem to be on the path to a separation. Ashley filed for divorce in November in Maricopa County (Arizona) Superior Court, a development first reported by BroBible.
The divorce filing cites the marriage as irretrievably broken with no prospects for reconciliation.
Ashley Perez has requested sole legal decision-making for their children, designating her home as the primary residence. In response, Pat Perez’s attorneys have sought joint legal decision-making and equal parenting time with the children. As of now, the divorce has not been finalized.

The couple, who share two children, has been known for their outspoken nature. In 2022, Ashley defended Pat’s decision to join the LIV Golf tour and warned against negative comments, vowing to block those expressing disapproval. Later, she criticized a wine trip by PGA Tour pros Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele, expressing her lack of interest in such activities.
More recently, she made controversial comments about wanting to watch Rory McIlroy get punched in the face during the Ryder Cup feud with Cantlay’s caddie, Joe LaCava.
Pat Perez, once ranked as high as 16th in the world in 2018, was served with divorce papers less than a week after the filing. The divorce proceedings are still ongoing.
