Smoke em if you got em. Le’Veon Bell certainly did.
Marijuana affects individuals differently. Some users become lethargic and indulge in snacks, while others, like three-time Pro Bowl running back Le’Veon Bell, consume it and experience a burst of energy before achieving commendable performance.
In a recent interview on Steel Here, Bell declared his regular marijuana use before NFL games despite facing drug-related suspensions.
“Looking back on this, that’s what I did,” Bell said. “When I was playing football, I smoked, bro. Even before the games, I’d smoke and I’d go out there and run for 150, two (touchdowns).”

These penalties occurred during Bell’s prime and while playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers alongside Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown.
Unfortunately, after holding out in 2018, Bell’s performance declined, and he spent time playing for the Jets, Chiefs, Ravens, and Buccaneers but never surpassed 1,000 rushing yards.
Despite failing to play since 2021, Bell has not officially retired from the NFL but is instead honing his skills in the boxing ring by challenging footballers.
