Several professional athletes, particularly current NBA players, were amazed by the offer extended to soccer superstar Kylian Mbappe by Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
This led players like Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James to playfully offer their services for a one-year deal to cash in on the opportunity.

Now, it seems that LeBron is taking things a step further as he recently visited Saudi Arabia, although the exact nature of his trip remains undisclosed.
According to Bleacher Report, “he was seen leaving a venue with a small entourage, while a photo showed him inside a gymnasium-type setting with a banner that read ‘Welcome to Arabia’ and ‘Ministry of Sport.’
At some point during the trip, he watched Saudi prospects at the AZM Academy play a game of basketball.”
Back in July, when Mbappe’s offer went viral, James tweeted a GIF from the Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump and humorously wrote, “Me headed to Saudi when they call @RichPaul4 [Rich Paul] & @mavcarter [Maverick Carter] for that 1 year deal!”
While LeBron is reportedly eyeing an NBA team in Vegas, if that plan doesn’t materialize, who knows, maybe he would consider playing in Saudi Arabia for the right amount of compensation.
