LeBron James appears to be quite at ease these days. Lakers icon Michael Cooper strongly criticized James for his actions during the team’s preseason game against the Warriors on Friday night.
Even though James had played in the first half, he was captured by cameras, sitting at the far end of the bench in casual attire, casually snacking during the second half while his team faced off against the Warriors as a part of their preparation for the upcoming regular season.

Cooper shared his disapproval on The Showtime Podcast, saying, “I didn’t like that. Again, he’s LeBron James, but still, you got to have respect for the game man, man. He’s sitting over there. I don’t mind the guy eating, but go eat in the locker room, and then when you come out and be part of the team, not just sit at the end of the bench eating.”
In this game, James contributed 12 points, five assists, and two rebounds in 18 minutes of play. Despite his efforts, the Lakers ended up losing to the Warriors with a final score of 129-125.
The Lakers’ regular season is set to commence next Tuesday night against the reigning champion Denver Nuggets in Denver. The tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TNT.
