Travis Kelce is making his debut in the world of television acting.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, known for his relationship with Taylor Swift since last year, has landed a significant role in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX series, “Grotesquerie,” as reported by Deadline.
In this series, which is currently in development, Kelce will star alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville. Nash-Betts shared the excitement on social media, posting an Instagram story with the caption, “Guys, guess who I am working with on Grotesquerie,” before panning the camera to Kelce who expressed his enthusiasm about entering a new field with her.
On set, Kelce was spotted in a brown jacket, white pants, and a white shirt, embodying his new role. When asked about his experience working on the project, he humorously remarked, “I’m just glad I didn’t hurt anybody,” followed by laughter.
The series, crafted by the creator of “American Horror Story,” promises to deliver chilling entertainment, though specific details of the plot remain undisclosed.
Beyond his acting venture, Travis Kelce continues to shine in the NFL, having recently signed a new two-year, $34.25 million contract with the Chiefs, making him the highest-paid tight end in the league.
Kelce’s commercial success extends beyond football. He holds endorsements with major brands including LG, McDonald’s, Nike, Old Spice, Papa John’s, Pfizer, and State Farm, alongside Dick’s Sporting Goods. His public profile has also soared thanks to his relationship with Swift; following the start of their relationship, his podcast “New Heights” saw a surge of 350,000 new followers on YouTube.
