It has been more than a year since the unfortunate passing of Dwayne Haskins, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback who tragically lost his life in a traffic incident in Florida.
However, FS1 and Colin Cowherd managed to spark controversy by mistakenly including Haskins in a discussion about the current quarterback market on their show ‘The Herd’.
Despite the error, they failed to rectify their mistake, causing the situation to spiral out of control.
During the show, Cowherd created a list of 20 quarterbacks drafted since 2013 who he believed were unable to win a Super Bowl, erroneously including Haskins.
To make matters worse, he used Haskins, alongside other quarterbacks such as Teddy Bridgewater and Baker Mayfield, as examples.
This is awful from FS1, Colin Cowherd and everyone invovled.
Cowherd made a list of "QBs that can’t win a Super Bowl" and including the late Dwayne Haskins on it and then read his name as well and didn't correct himself.

Given the size and prominence of FS1 and ‘The Herd,’ one would expect a more comprehensive production process to prevent such an error from occurring and generating such intense backlash.
In 2021, Haskins played for the Steelers and was poised to compete for the opportunity to succeed Ben Roethlisberger as the team’s starting quarterback in 2022 before his untimely passing.
In Pittsburgh, the team commemorated Haskins’ life by joining his wife in a celebration of his life.
Throughout the 2022 season, many players continued to demonstrate their support for their former teammate.
