The Las Vegas Raiders may be long shots for a Super Bowl appearance this season, but their season tickets are being treated like treasure.
In a delightful surprise to season-ticket holders, the team sent out this year’s passes in a pirate-themed treasure chest adorned with the Raiders’ iconic logo.
This eye-catching package includes an illuminated treasure map and several medal cases to protect the precious Raiders tickets. The presentation has been a hit among fans, adding a touch of excitement and novelty to the ticket-receiving experience.

While Raiders season tickets start at a reported $2,750, making the treasure chest far from a freebie, the response online has been overwhelmingly positive. Fans of other teams have even expressed their envy. One fan humorously admitted on social media platform X, “I’ve never been jealous of Raiders fans until now.”
However, there’s a bittersweet note for Raiders fans this summer. Despite the impressive season ticket package, all Raiders fans, including season-ticket holders, will be barred from attending this year’s training camp. The team has relocated their training camp to Los Angeles, where NFL rules concerning ‘exclusive home territory’ will prevent fans from attending practices.
The Raiders would be violating NFL regulations that protect the geographic territories of the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams if they allowed public access or invited local media to their training camp. Raiders owner Mark Davis explained that the Rams and Chargers are enforcing these restrictions, and there are no established paths to overturn the exclusivity clause.
“It would be nice if all the fans could be there, but, whatever. Like I said, the Chargers and Rams have that ability,” Davis told ESPN.
Head coach Antonio Pierce commented that his primary concern would be if the rule impacted team bonding, but he reassured that the core objective of training camp remains unchanged. “Team bonding, getting together and getting to know one another, to get away from all the distractions — it’s all about ball,” Pierce told ESPN. “Just ball.”
Despite the training camp restrictions, the Raiders’ unique approach to their season ticket distribution has generated a lot of buzz and goodwill among their fanbase.
This creative gesture reflects the team’s dedication to making the fan experience special, even as they face logistical challenges and competitive odds.
As the season progresses, Raiders supporters will undoubtedly treasure their tickets, symbolic of both their loyalty and the team’s storied pirate legacy.
