Here we go again with the Tom Brady rumors.
Following their recent draft decisions, NFL enthusiasts are speculating whether Tom Brady might come out of retirement a second time to join an AFC team.
Having previously returned to the field after a brief 40-day retirement, Brady has now been retired for nearly 15 months, but his return remains a topic of conversation as he approaches his 47th birthday.
The speculation gained momentum after the Las Vegas Raiders selected Georgia tight end Brock Bowers with the No. 13 pick during the first round of the NFL Draft. This selection followed their previous year’s choice of another top tight end prospect, Michael Mayer, in the second round. The addition of these two players to a team already featuring talents like Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers (Brady’s former teammate at New England) makes the Raiders a potentially attractive option for Brady.

Despite fans’ eagerness to see Brady back for a 24th NFL season, the reality seems far-fetched for several reasons. Brady has been away from professional football for over a year, and any return would require extensive training and adaptation to a new offensive system.
Furthermore, Brady has a lucrative future as a sports analyst with FOX Sports, which includes a substantial annual salary.
Additionally, his potential involvement in acquiring a stake in the Raiders’ ownership complicates the possibility of a return to playing, as ownership roles in the NFL prohibit active participation as a player.
