Larsa Pippen for 3!
Larsa Pippen has secured half of her former spouse Scottie Pippen’s retirement payout from his time with the Chicago Bulls, marking a personal victory for her.
Legal documents obtained by The Blast confirmed Larsa’s status as Scottie’s ex-wife and awarded her “Fifty Percent” of all account balances from the separation date closest to the plan’s valuation.
An order was put in place by an L.A. County court in regard to the former couple’s ongoing divorce — specifying Larsa’s rights to Scottie’s Chicago Bulls 401(k) and “savings plan trust.”
In the order, the court recognizes Larsa as Scottie’s ex-wife — whom he married in 1997. The official date of separation is November 3, 2016. So…she was legally awarded “Fifty Percent” of all account balances as of the plan’s valuation amount closest to the date of their separation. In other words, she gets half of the amount that was accrued in the account from 1997 to 2016.
Larsa, who is currently in a happy relationship with Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, will receive half of the account’s earnings from the 19 years she was married to Scottie from 1997 to 2016.
Following their separation, Larsa released a statement expressing her hope that they would continue to parent their four children together with love and respect.
She asked for privacy during this difficult time of transition.
