The internet loves to hate Kyrie.
Kyrie Irving, fresh off signing a three-year $126 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks, is making a comeback in the shoe endorsement game.
He has inked a unique five-year deal with Chinese sportswear brand ANTA, which includes the role of Chief Creative Officer. Irving’s management company, A11Even, negotiated this lucrative deal that not only involves signature product releases but also allows him to recruit and sign players and collaborators.

Additionally, Irving will help ANTA expand its manufacturing process in the United States and fully distribute its products there. Irving expressed his excitement about this collaboration, praising ANTA’s openness to creativity, teamwork, and expertise in product innovation.
Of course the internet took this opportunity to troll Kyrie over his Flat Earth beliefs.

As part of the partnership, ANTA and Irving will launch youth basketball camps worldwide.
Previously with Nike since his rookie year in 2011, Irving ended the partnership last year following controversy. Since then, he wore his signature shoes in games, albeit covering up the Nike logo.
Irving’s new shoe endorsement deal solidifies his position in the sneaker industry, and the Mavericks are pleased to have him locked in as a player, as he has greatly contributed to their success with impressive statistics.
