Kylie Kelce is embracing a season of new beginnings and exciting opportunities following a memorable summer spent with her family.
As she looks ahead to the fall, she’s not only gearing up for her own ventures but also cheering on her husband, Jason Kelce, as he steps into a fresh chapter in his career.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE about her partnership with Dove, which focuses on empowering busy women to practice self-care and build confidence, Kylie reflected on the incredible experiences they had at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The trip has left her feeling energized and eager for what’s to come.
This fall, Jason Kelce, after an illustrious 13-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles, will embark on a new journey as a member of ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” team. For Kylie, watching her husband transition from the football field to the broadcast booth is both thrilling and inspiring.
“I am mostly excited to see Jason excel in a new position,” Kylie shared. “I jokingly say it’s a pain in the butt that he’s good at everything, and I know I’m biased in that, but I truly believe he’s good at everything because even if he’s not great at the start, he will work endlessly and tirelessly until he can achieve excellence. So, I have full faith that he’s going to tackle his new role and excel.”

Kylie is particularly excited to see Jason showcase his analytical skills, which she believes make him a perfect fit for his new role. “He’s such an analytical person, and I think this will be the perfect role for him on Monday nights with ESPN. I’m really excited to watch him work,” she added.
As Jason takes on this new challenge, the Kelce family is also preparing for the start of the school year.
Their two older daughters, Elliotte, 3½, and Wyatt, 4½, are heading back to school, while their youngest, Bennett, is now 18 months old. Amid their busy schedules, Kylie is returning to her role as a field hockey coach at a local high school, a position she is passionate about.
“I think one of the most important things about being a high school coach, especially at a public school, is that we get a wide range of athletes,” Kylie explained. “Some will go on to play Division One, while others might not play past their senior year. They’re really there to enjoy the sport and spend time with their friends. In our program, all are welcome.”
Kylie sees her role as a coach as an opportunity to instill valuable life lessons in her players, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and positive body image. “Team sports help mold people to work together. Like the body confidence campaign with Dove, we focus on showing positive body talk and how their bodies’ strengths are positive attributes,” she said. “Even if they don’t continue playing after high school, they leave with confidence, the ability to work with a team, and skills that will serve them in the workplace and beyond.”
Kylie is also a strong advocate for creating a team environment that feels like a family. “I stress the idea of your team as your family. You don’t have to like everyone, but you do have to love and respect them. These are important lessons that make you a better, more well-rounded person, preparing you for life after high school,” she noted. “Yes, we focus on skill, endurance, and winning in field hockey, but ultimately, I’m trying to help them win at life. Character-building opportunities are what we focus on most.”
Kylie’s passion for sports and mentorship is fueled by her experiences at the Paris Olympics, where she witnessed firsthand the growing excitement and support for women’s sports. “Seeing these women get the attention and love they deserve is amazing,” she said. “We watched USA field hockey, and I got to meet many of the team members, some of whom I already knew since nine of them are from Pennsylvania. It was so much fun to see.”
During their time in Paris, Kylie and Jason also had the chance to meet other incredible athletes, including Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and members of the women’s rugby team. “We randomly ran into Aly Raisman, and we got to meet Ilona Maher and her family, along with a lot of the women’s rugby team,” Kylie recalled. “It’s so much fun to meet these women who are excelling in their sports, who are role models for young women, and who embody the beauty and strength we talk about in Dove’s body confidence campaign.”
Kylie was particularly struck by how these athletes embraced their bodies and used their unique attributes to excel in their sports. “These women recognize what their bodies can do for them and how their attributes work as positives, not negatives. Whether you’re tall, muscular, or whatever, all of those things work in a positive way in sports,” she said. “It was such an honor to spend time with them and pick their brains—I was just trying my best not to fangirl.”
As she navigates the upcoming fall, Kylie is ready to support her husband in his new career, coach her team, and continue advocating for confidence and empowerment in all aspects of life.
The experiences and lessons from the Paris Olympics will undoubtedly influence her as she helps shape the next generation of athletes and enjoys the next chapter of her own journey.
