Jason Kelce’s life post-NFL has been anything but laid-back, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, says she sees less of him now than she did during his playing days. In a candid Q&A during the premiere episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast on Thursday, Kylie opened up about how Jason’s media career has taken off since retiring from the NFL in March after 13 seasons.
“I see him less now in retirement than I did when he was playing football,” said Kylie, who is pregnant with the couple’s fourth daughter. “We had a set schedule back then. Now, it’s an absolute free-for-all. He’s working so hard and really grinding right now.”
A Packed Schedule Post-NFL
Jason’s retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles in March led to a rapid ascent in the media world. The seven-time Pro Bowler and 2018 Super Bowl champion signed a multi-year deal with ESPN in May, just two months after hanging up his cleats. His new role includes appearances on Monday Night Countdown, Monday Night Football halftime coverage, and ESPN’s playoff and Super Bowl broadcasts, including Super Bowl LXI in New Orleans in 2025.
Adding to his plate, Jason announced last month that he’ll host a live late-night talk show in Philadelphia starting January 4. They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce will run for five weeks, featuring a live audience at Union Transfer and airing at 1 a.m. for the first four episodes and 1:30 a.m. for the final one.
On top of his television commitments, Jason continues to co-host the popular New Heights podcast with his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The podcast exploded in popularity in 2024, partly fueled by Travis’ high-profile relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift.

Balancing Parenthood Amid Chaos
For Kylie, juggling three young daughters—Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1—while preparing for the arrival of their fourth child has been challenging. Jason’s demanding schedule has meant Kylie often relies on childcare to keep the household running smoothly.
“When I have to do something—coaching, something for the Eagles Autism Foundation, the podcast, or even a doctor’s appointment—I schedule childcare,” she explained. “My husband can tell me 72 times he’s going to be home, but I still schedule childcare. It’s not a knock on him. He’s just busier than he’s ever been.”
Kylie laughed when a fan asked if Jason watches their three daughters while she records her podcast. “Let’s be real,” she joked. “The man is everywhere right now.”
The Kelce Family Spotlight
The Kelce family has become a cultural phenomenon over the past year. Jason and Travis have parlayed their football success into thriving ventures in media and business. Their podcast gained a new audience last summer when Travis began dating Taylor Swift, bringing the Kelce brothers into the global pop culture spotlight.
Meanwhile, their mother, Donna Kelce, has also become a media darling. She recently made her acting debut in the Hallmark Christmas movie A Chiefs Love Story, which premiered on November 30.
Even Travis has branched into acting, appearing in Ryan Murphy’s horror series Grotesquerie and hosting Amazon’s Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity. Both brothers also became major investors in Garage Beer, an independent light beer brand, earlier this year.
The New Normal
Despite the whirlwind of activity, Kylie remains supportive of Jason’s post-NFL career. “He’s working really hard,” she said. “I just make sure I’m covered at home, whether that means he’s there or I have someone else helping out. We’re making it work.”
As Jason’s media career continues to soar, the Kelce family’s influence is expanding far beyond the football field.
From late-night TV to podcasts and brand investments, the Kelces are proving they’re just as dynamic off the field as they were on it. For Kylie, the chaos is worth it as the family navigates this new chapter together.
