In the end, Kylie Kelce emerged victorious. Responding to her husband Jason Kelce’s assertion that he didn’t need her “permission” to remove his shirt at a football game, Kylie had the perfect comeback.
During a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast featuring the Kelce brothers, Jason discussed his impromptu decision to tear off his shirt and leap from the suite after his younger brother, Travis Kelce, scored a touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills playoff game at Highmark Stadium.
Recounting the incident, Jason mentioned giving Kylie a heads-up, to which she responded, “Jason, don’t you dare.” Unfazed, he asserted, “I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.”

However, Kylie cleverly turned his words around, revealing her plan to leverage the same phrase for her own purposes as she jokingly commented on Instagram, “‘I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.’ – the exact quote I will say when I’m grabbing the keys to go get a cat.”
Jason admitted on the podcast that Kylie wasn’t thrilled about his shirtless escapade, but instead of harboring resentment, she found a way to get what she wanted.
As the AFC championship between the No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens and the No. 3 seed Kansas City Chiefs approaches at M&T Bank Stadium, the question remains whether Jason, Kylie, and the Taylor Swift-like show will hit the road for a second consecutive week.
