Kylie Kelce shared the backstory behind her impromptu Irish jig performance on St. Patrick’s Day, shedding light on the unexpected turn of events in a TikTok video.
Framing the experience as the latest installment of “Places Kylie Has No Business Being,” the wife of recently retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce revealed her early start in Irish dancing at the age of 4. However, she admitted to abandoning the practice in middle school and had not danced since, except for occasional college antics.
“I haven’t Irish danced since probably seventh grade, and that is with the exception of occasionally when impaired in college,” she confessed. “I had no business. None.”
Cut to footage of her on the bar balcony, where she identified a young dancer named Maggie as the main reason for their visit. However, a raised eyebrow signaled her realization that she was out of place.

Reflecting on her past at the McDade School of Irish Dance, Kylie humorously admitted her sister’s superiority in the art. She then narrated a moment of skepticism aimed at the two men who volunteered her for the activity.
“Take note of this look right here. That’s the, ‘Oh, you think you’re funny’ look,” she remarked, directing her gaze towards Jason Kelce and their friend, Chuck, warning them to “sleep with one eye open.”
Kelce concluded the video by thanking everyone for their support, even as she “embarrassed herself.”
Despite her initial reservations, attendees at the Delaware County restaurant appeared to enjoy Kylie’s participation. Media’s Towne House praised her as a “helluva Irish dancer,” while the McHugh School of Irish Dance expressed gratitude to the Kelces on Facebook, stating, “Truly, thank you to both of you!! You made this the best night ever for all of our dancers.”
