The Taylor Swift effect is real.
Kristin Juszczyk’s custom game-day outfits have garnered attention from the NFL, and reports suggest that the league is in talks to turn her designs into official merchandise.
An NFL spokesperson acknowledged ongoing discussions with Juszczyk, stating that they are exploring opportunities to collaborate. Juszczyk, the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, has not commented on the reported deal.
Juszczyk gained popularity last weekend for creating a custom Kansas City Chiefs jacket for Taylor Swift and a Detroit Lions jacket for Taylor Lautner.
If the NFL secures a deal with Juszczyk, it would likely eliminate competition from knockoffs. Earlier in the week, she cautioned her Instagram followers about the unauthorized sale of her jackets, emphasizing the need for proper licensing.
“Hi everyone! I just want to say that I am not selling any of these jackets,” Juszczyk wrote. “It’s not legal & I need licensing in order to do that. We’re trying to figure out how to get these to you all but in the meantime please be smart and don’t partake.”
As the 49ers prepare to face the Packers in the Divisional Round, fans are eager to see the outfit Juszczyk designs for herself if the reported deal comes to fruition.
