On Saturday, the Los Angeles Dodgers stepped onto the field in Seoul, South Korea, for an exhibition game. However, it seemed like the players in Dodger blue were the ones caught in a starstruck moment even before the game kicked off.
The anticipation grew as South Korean actress Jeon Jong-seo was scheduled to throw the first pitch for the Dodgers’ warm-up match against the Kiwoom Heroes at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
Jeon certainly grabbed the team’s attention. Tyler Glasnow, Freddie Freeman, and the rest of the dugout were visibly focused as the “Ballerina” star prepared for her ceremonial pitch.

Jeon’s throw didn’t disappoint, coming close to a strike over the plate.
The Dodgers showed up with full determination once the game commenced. Freddie Freeman set the tone by hitting a home run in his very first at-bat, giving the visitors an early 1-0 lead in the first inning. From there, the Dodgers dominated, securing a resounding 14-3 victory over the local team.
Freeman was among seven different Dodgers who tallied multiple hits during the game. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Dodgers extended an invitation to Jeon to throw the first pitch at Dodger Stadium in the future.
Jeon isn’t the only woman garnering attention among baseball fans lately. The identity of Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani’s wife has been a hot topic throughout spring training.
However, Ohtani surprisingly couldn’t find his rhythm in the game. The versatile star went hitless, striking out in both of his at-bats.
