Klay Thompson always keeps it real.
The esteemed Golden State Warriors player, openly shared his genuine thoughts on the Chris Paul trade during an interview with Anthony Slater from The Athletic.
Though Klay is enthusiastic about the new possibilities that CP3 brings to the team, he admits feeling a sense of peculiarity about the addition.
Thompson’s complete remarks convey his perspective:
“Having the opportunity to play alongside one of the greatest players of our generation is truly an honor. It’s a bit unusual because we’ve had many heated encounters with Chris in the past, and he has led teams that came close to defeating us or actually did so, as far back as 2014. I believe he will bring a sense of calmness and vital leadership that our team needs. I’m aware that Steph and Chris share a long-standing connection, both being from North Carolina. As for me, I anticipate a seamless transition playing alongside such a skilled passer and playmaker—I’m just excited.”
I asked Steph Curry and Klay Thompson about the Chris Paul trade and Mike Dunleavy's early work as the Warriors new general manager.

Additionally, the intense on-court battles have caused some of Klay’s teammates, including Draymond Green, to openly express their dislike for Chris Paul on various occasions.
This makes it intriguing to witness how Paul will integrate with his former adversaries, who are now his teammates.
