Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has gained attention in training camp, but not for the right reasons this time.
In his 12th season in the NFL, Cousins surprised everyone by growing out his facial hair for “Mustache Monday.”
However, his chosen style, which involved combining a horseshoe mustache with a soul patch, was not well-received. Despite having other styles in mind, such as a handlebar mustache, Cousins ended up with the wrong look. He plans to keep this facial hair until a game, at which point he will likely remove it.

This unconventional appearance has brought attention back to the Minnesota Vikings, who have been overshadowed in the NFC North despite their impressive 13-4 record in 2022.
While teams like the rising Detroit Lions and the Aaron Rodgers-less Green Bay Packers dominate the division’s headlines, Cousins and the Vikings have embraced the absurdity of his facial hair, keeping team morale high.
The players’ fun and lightheartedness in training camp contribute to a positive atmosphere for the upcoming season.
While everyone is aware of how ridiculous Cousins’ facial hair looks, and the joke is shared by all, it is safe to say that most people do not like it.
