Keyshawn Johnson is confident that Saquon Barkley still has plenty to offer on the football field, going so far as to suggest that Skip Bayless might need to wear a diaper if Barkley were to join the Philadelphia Eagles or any team other than the Dallas Cowboys.
With Barkley’s future uncertain as the New York Giants are unlikely to use the franchise tag on him, the 27-year-old running back is expected to enter free agency. As a die-hard Cowboys fan, Bayless has expressed his disinterest in seeing Barkley join his rival team. He even went as far as to say he wouldn’t mind if Barkley signed with the Eagles, a statement that prompted a warning from Johnson.
“Do you have a diaper on right now?” Johnson quipped, catching Bayless off guard. “Because if Philly signs him, you’re going to need one.”
“Stop,” Bayless responded dismissively.
“No, I’m serious,” Johnson persisted. “You’ll be scared.”
Johnson’s inquiry about Bayless wearing a diaper may not be typical fodder for the Undisputed show, but with only six months into his tenure alongside Bayless, Johnson might not be aware of his co-host’s bladder resilience.
Bayless has proudly boasted on his podcast about his ability to hold it in during live TV shows, citing his “iron bladder” as the reason he’s never needed to take a bathroom break during a broadcast.
So, regardless of where Barkley ends up playing next season, it’s safe to say that the 72-year-old Bayless won’t be needing a diaper anytime soon.
With Richard Sherman absent from the show following his recent arrest, Undisputed has reverted to its traditional one-on-one debate format since Bayless’s return from vacation.
