Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets took advantage of some chaotic play by the Minnesota Timberwolves to finish the first half of Game 4 on a high note Sunday night.
The sequence started with a fastbreak dunk by Michael Porter Jr., after which the Timberwolves hurriedly tried to pass the ball downcourt for a final shot before the break.
However, their plan was disrupted by Murray, who impressively intercepted the pass and hit a stunning buzzer-beater from nearly half court. As Murray was just steps away, TNT announcer Kevin Harlan provided a memorable call of the moment, exclaiming, “That’s intercepted. Murray, good if it goes… Got it! Got it! Got it! A big-time three! Oh, what a shot!”
This sequence not only boosted the Nuggets’ lead from eight to 13 points in a matter of seconds but also capped off the half with a burst of energy, thanks to Porter and Murray’s efforts.
After making the shot, Murray was seen locking eyes with Harlan, who was in the midst of delivering his electrifying commentary. The 27-year-old Murray was then quickly surrounded and celebrated by his teammates as they headed to the locker room, riding the wave of momentum they had just created.
