Kelly Oubre lost his cool.
The Philadelphia 76ers forward displayed evident frustration Wednesday following his team’s narrow 108-107 defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
Oubre voiced his discontent with the game’s officials for their failure to call a foul on his crucial drive to the basket in the game’s closing moments. There was contact between Oubre and Clippers’ star Paul George just before the final buzzer, prompting both Oubre and head coach Nick Nurse to argue for a foul.

Despite the game’s conclusion, Oubre and Nurse approached the referees to express their dissatisfaction. Oubre, in particular, used strong language, directing pointed remarks at each official individually.
The closing moments proved challenging for Oubre against the Clippers. Besides the disputed foul call, Oubre faced a block from Kawhi Leonard on his previous drive with five seconds remaining.
The Clippers showcased balanced scoring, with seven players reaching double figures, led by Paul George’s 22 points. Oubre contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds in the contest.
The victory must have been gratifying for James Harden, who endured boos from his former hometown fans in his return to Philadelphia.
