Karl-Anthony Towns will soon be making his Western Conference Finals debut as the Minnesota Timberwolves get set to take on the Dallas Mavericks in Minneapolis Wednesday night.
Prior to the game, Towns honored a late Timberwolves player who passed away in a car accident in May of 2000.

Sealy tragically passed away at just 30 years old.
A former star for St. John’s University, Sealy had played for the Timberwolves from 1998 up until his death in 2000.
He had his #2 jersey retired by the Wolves following his death.
Sealy was driving home following a birthday celebration for teammate Kevin Garnett when his SUV was struck by a wrong-way driver on the highway.
The Timberwolves haven’t been in the Western Conference Finals since the 2004 season and have never appeared in the NBA Finals.
Towns and the Wolves will be looking to gain the upper hand in Game 1 tonight with a home victory over the Mavericks.
