Mistakes happen even from professionals.
A local TV station in Kansas City is gaining widespread attention for an unfortunate blunder. According to KMBC 9, the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up to face the Olathe Northwest Ravens in this Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
During a discussion about the upcoming Championship Game, where the Chiefs are making their sixth consecutive appearance after defeating the Buffalo Bills, the station made a critical error by using the wrong Baltimore Ravens logo.
Instead, they inadvertently displayed the logo of a local school that shares the same mascot and colors.

The official football account of Olathe Northwest High School, one of five public high schools in the Olathe USD 233 school district with the Raven as its mascot, responded to the mistake by saying, ‘@Chiefs, we look forward to the challenge and thank you for the opportunity.’
Despite the mix-up, Sunday’s game in Baltimore is anticipated to be thrilling, marking the Ravens’ first-ever hosting of an AFC Championship game and the City of Baltimore’s first AFC Championship game since 1971. With the game taking place at M&T Bank Stadium, the atmosphere is expected to be electric.
As the Chiefs visit to take on the Ravens, it’s perplexing to consider how such a mistake could occur on live TV.
