Although Justin Fields has parted ways with the Chicago Bears, his affection for the city and its fans endures.
Following his trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Fields took to social media to express his appreciation for Chicago. “Can’t express enough gratitude to the city of Chicago for welcoming me with open arms,” he posted. “Thanks to the entire Bears organization and ownership for the opportunity to be part of such a storied franchise. And to my teammates, you’re family. Wishing you all the best. Ready for the next chapter!”
Fields, initially drafted 11th overall by the Bears in the 2021 NFL Draft, held the reins as the primary starter in Chicago over three seasons, amassing impressive stats.

In his tenure with the Bears, Fields notched 6,674 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions in 40 games (38 starts). Additionally, the versatile quarterback racked up 2,220 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns on 356 carries.
Despite the Steelers acquiring two recent starting quarterbacks, reports indicate they have a clear choice for their QB1 moving forward.
Fields seems receptive to backing up Wilson in Pittsburgh, contrasting with Kenny Pickett, whose departure might have stirred some discord among his former Steelers teammates.
