Justin Fields has his eye on the prize.
Netflix recently launched a documentary series called Quarterback, which follows the lives of three NFL quarterbacks throughout the 2022 season.
The show received positive reviews and has been confirmed for a second season. However, Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields declined Netflix’s offer to participate in the upcoming season.
Fields, who was the 11th overall pick in the draft, explained that he wants to avoid any potential distractions for his team in his third NFL season.
He believes that having cameras around the building might alter the team’s atmosphere and wants to maintain a natural and focused environment.
“Just having cameras around the building, I think that might change the vibe of everyone,” Fields said, via ProFootballTalk. “I just want to keep it natural and organic and really just focus on what’s going on in the building.”
Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields said that Netflix reached out to him about being in season 2 of the Quarterback doc but he wasn't interested in being in it.

Although Fields has shown personal improvement in his performance, he has yet to achieve significant success with the Bears as a team. With new offensive weapons at his disposal this year, the talented dual-threat quarterback is determined to change that narrative in 2023.
While the featured quarterbacks for Season 2 of Quarterback have not been announced, Season 1 showcased Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota.
If you’re a Bears fan it’s definitely a little bittersweet.
