Julian Edelman is talking Jerry Rice and his daughter.
During his high school days, former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman famously dated Jaqui Rice, the daughter of NFL legend Jerry Rice.
While their relationship garnered attention, little was known about what Edelman used to do when Jerry wasn’t around. In a recent interview, the retired wide receiver revealed that he would put on Jerry’s Super Bowl rings among other things.
“I remember the first time I came over and Jerry came out with his chain on, no shirt, six packed up and just gave me a head nod,” he said. “And that was like the last time we talked in like two years. It was scary.”
“But I’ll tell you one thing when Jerry wasn’t there, I was putting on his Super Bowl rings and everything.”

Despite being approached by three teams about returning to the NFL last year, Edelman turned them down.
Although he doesn’t plan on returning, his potential return to the NFL in 2023 cannot be completely ruled out.
