“I’m watching a lot of documentary things,” Roberts said on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show this week. “I mean, I love documentaries, but I watched this documentary series, Quarterback. It has changed my life, I think. Because I’m a big football fan. But this has given me an insight, like I have so much respect right now for Patrick Mahomes, I don’t know what to do with it. There’s really not a place for me to put it on a daily basis.”
The actress, a big football fan who grew up near Atlanta, expressed her admiration for Mahomes’ dedication and continuous learning, comparing it to her own approach to homework when working on film projects.
Roberts, a fan of soccer and college football, revealed that her favorite team is the 49ers, but the Chiefs are a close second. In a playful jab, she warned a New York Jets fan about the challenges of staying loyal to the team.
