The controversy surrounding Josh Giddey continues to unfold as his agent, Daniel Moldovan, has been dismissed from Octagon agency, which represents him.
However, Moldovan’s firing has nothing to do with the ongoing investigation into Giddey’s alleged relationship with a minor. Moldovan was dismissed from the agency after he made divisive and disparaging remarks on social media in response to a Black Lives Matter post.

The post, which showed support for Palestine, contained a drawing of a paraglide and was captioned, “I stand with Palestine.” Octagon confirmed Moldovan’s dismissal and stated that his comments were in gross violation of the company’s policies and values, leading to his prompt termination.
“Octagon became aware that Daniel Moldovan made divisive, disparaging, and corrosive remarks that do not represent our values or what we stand for,” they said in a statement.
“We immediately launched an investigation into the reported incident. It was determined that Daniel’s comments and actions were in gross violation of our policies that are in place to protect the longstanding integrity of the company, its employees and clients, and we promptly terminated his employment.”
In the meantime, there are reports that the parents of the alleged minor with whom Giddey had a relationship are refusing to cooperate with authorities. Despite the ongoing investigation and swirling allegations, Giddey continues to play for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
