After two tough losses, the Buffalo Bills (3-2) are looking to bounce back in a crucial Monday Night Football matchup against their AFC East rival, the New York Jets (2-3). A win would not only snap their losing streak but also secure the Bills the top spot in the division after Week 6. While the pressure is on for quarterback Josh Allen and his team, one thing is certain: Allen has the unwavering support of his girlfriend, actress Hailee Steinfeld.
Though Allen and Steinfeld tend to keep their relationship out of the public eye, the couple made a rare appearance together just two days before the Bills’ primetime showdown at MetLife Stadium.
On October 12, the duo was spotted attending a special event hosted by Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir and his wife, Sayler Shakir, at Resurgence Brewing Company in Buffalo.
The event, which aimed to find homes for pets in need of adoption, was a feel-good gathering that quickly gained attention on social media after videos of Allen and Steinfeld interacting with adorable pets went viral.

It’s unclear whether Allen and Steinfeld were there to boost awareness for the pet adoption drive or if they were considering adding a furry friend to their own family. Steinfeld already owns two Yorkshire Terriers, Brando and Martini, but the couple seemed to enjoy their time with the animals, drawing even more attention to the cause.
While Allen and Steinfeld seldom discuss their relationship publicly, the Oscar-nominated actress gave fans a rare glimpse into her feelings for the Bills’ star quarterback in her personal newsletter, Beau Society. In Issue No. 6, published last month, Steinfeld reflected on what it’s like to support Allen during the NFL season.
“Hi. Ok, so the rumors are true. Football season is back, which means a few things,” she wrote. “A) I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week (go off 17).”
Steinfeld went on to describe her emotions during one of Buffalo’s home games earlier this season. “I had this whole vintage fashion issue written up before Sunday’s home opener, but I spent most of the game thinking about 1) how lucky I am to get a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team, and the stadium energy. 2) The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none.”
Although Steinfeld has shared her admiration for Allen’s on-field talents, she typically avoids the spotlight when it comes to their relationship, making their joint appearance at the pet adoption event even more special for fans.
As for whether or not Steinfeld will be in the stands at MetLife Stadium on Monday night, cheering Allen on during what could be a pivotal game for the Bills, remains to be seen.
The Bills will be hoping for a win to regain control of their division and get back on track, but win or lose, Allen clearly has Steinfeld in his corner, offering her unwavering support in both his personal and professional life.
