Jonathan Taylor, the Indianapolis Colts running back, recently posted a mysterious message on Instagram that hints at a possible move in the near future.
It is believed that Taylor’s desire for a trade stems from a disappointing meeting with team owner Jim Irsay, as well as his frustrations with the Colts’ failure to offer him a satisfactory contract extension.
Additionally, Taylor was upset by reports leaked by someone within the organization that suggested he has back issues.
Given the ongoing feud between Taylor and the Colts, his recent Instagram post has sparked speculation about his future with the team.

While it is unclear if Taylor’s message implies an impending move, it is evident that he wants to part ways with the Colts.
As Taylor enters the final year of his rookie contract, he has already proven himself as an elite player, leading the league in rushing yards in 2021 and being the team’s most productive offensive player for the past three seasons.
Despite Taylor’s accomplishments, some owners, including Irsay, undervalue the running back position and prefer to easily replace players of that caliber.
This disconnect between Taylor’s performance and the Colts’ lack of appreciation could be a contributing factor to his desire for a new team.
