Taking to his Instagram Stories on Saturday, the Chicago Bears safety honored the star American gymnast, who won her third gold medal of the 2024 Paris Games with a first-place finish in the women’s vault final — bringing her total Olympic gold medal count to seven.
“Just a reminder that my wife is THE S–T,” Owens, 29, posted alongside a photo of a smiling Biles, 27, at Bercy Arena.
Biles scored 15.300 on the vault, defeating Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade (14.966) and fellow American Jade Carey (14.466). This victory also brought Biles’ total Olympic medal count to 10, the most earned by any U.S. gymnast.
Biles has dominated the 2024 Games with Team USA. The squad, also comprising Carey, Sunisa “Suni” Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera, won gold in the team all-around on Tuesday.

Owens, who wed Biles last spring, had a front-row seat to her gold medal win in Thursday’s individual all-around, with the couple sharing heart hand gestures inside Bercy Arena.
Biles’ sensational run in Paris comes three years after she withdrew from events at the Tokyo Games due to the “twisties,” a condition where gymnasts lose their sense of spatial awareness, potentially leading to dangerous landings.
Owens, who first linked up with Biles in 2020, supported the 4-foot-8 superstar during that tumultuous time. “Your strength and courage is unmatched and you inspire me more and more every day SB,” Owens expressed in a July 2021 Instagram tribute. “You always gon’ be my champ baby and don’t you ever forget that. I love you so much and I can’t wait till you come home and I get to see that beautiful smile again. You know I’m always here for you baby.”
Owens, now preparing for his first season in Chicago after signing a two-year deal with the Bears in March, will continue to cheer on Biles, who can add more Olympic hardware to her collection Monday in the balance beam and floor exercise finals.
Should Biles win gold in those events, her total Olympic gold medal count would reach nine, tying former Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina for the most top finishes by a gymnast.
