Former NBA superstar John Wall made some scary revelations recently.
Wall made an appearance on an episode of The OG’s Show hosted by former NBA players Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem.
During the episode, Wall shockingly revealed that he put a gun to his head twice.
“I know how it is, and I try to tell people, ‘Mental health is serious.’ So, I had to go get a therapist after that. If it wasn’t for my two boys, I would have killed myself,” Wall recalled. “I put a gun to my head twice. And a lot of people that [are] close to me and my friends at the time didn’t know.”

Wall credits his kids for essentially saving his life.
“I had a gun to my head twice,” Wall continued. “I wanted to commit suicide, and I was like, ‘Man, if I take myself away from this earth, I’m failing my kids. Who is going to be there to raise them?..’” he said. “I take it from them; that ain’t fair to me. I know I gotta be there for them.”
The 33-year-old has been open about his struggles with mental health previously but has never publicly revealed that his struggles went quite this deep before.
Wall is still an active NBA player and is currently a free agent as he hopes to sign with an NBA team in the near future.
Wall last played for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2023 and was a five-time NBA all-star for the Washington Wizards from 2014 to 2018.
