Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is optimistic about his team’s prospects for the upcoming season.
With Burrow back to full health, the Bengals are poised to be strong contenders for a playoff berth and the AFC North title. He believes that the team will see significant improvement in 2024 and even views the Bengals as well-suited to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Both teams have great players. We are kind of built to beat them,” Burrow commented.

Historically, the Bengals have had the upper hand against the Chiefs, especially in crucial matchups. They defeated the Chiefs in an AFC Championship Game to advance to the Super Bowl and hold a 3-1 record against them with Burrow as their quarterback.
Their sole loss occurred in January of last year when the Chiefs edged out the Bengals 23-20 in the AFC Championship Game, avenging earlier defeats.
The rivalry is set to continue in 2024, with the next face-off scheduled at Arrowhead Stadium. Although the exact date has yet to be set, the matchup is expected to be a primetime event once announced.
Last season, Burrow’s participation was cut short due to a torn wrist ligament, limiting him to just 10 games. Despite the setback, he managed to throw for 2,309 yards and 15 touchdowns. With his return to health, Burrow and the Bengals are looking to make a strong push in the coming season.
