Joe Burrow is one smart cookie.
Over the past two AFC Championship Games, the Chiefs and Bengals have faced off, with both teams narrowly clinching victory. Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow are deemed to be the conference’s top competitors for years to come.
However, Burrow believes there is no argument that Mahomes is currently the number one quarterback in the league.

Mahomes earned both the MVP and Super Bowl MVP in the same season, a feat not accomplished since Kurt Warner in 1999.
During Burrow’s press conference, he was asked about his goals and if they change year-to-year. Burrow shared that his goals have always been the same, to reach the top of the mountain both personally and as a team.
While offseason QB rankings hold no value to Burrow, he remains focused on his incremental improvement throughout the year, which could potentially lead to him being the league’s best QB if the Bengals reach their peak in 2023.
