Now, it seems Joe Burrow might be the latest to join this trend.
A viral photo circulating on social media appears to show the quarterback with noticeably longer locks.
Fans are buzzing about whether Burrow has embraced an “Anakin Skywalker” phase with his new hairstyle.
However, the legitimacy of the haircut photo is in question.
In a video posted on May 20 by the Bengals’ X account, Burrow is seen wearing a hat while throwing passes to rookie wide receiver Jermaine Burton.
It would be difficult to hide a significant amount of hair under a cap.

Additionally, a post from May 16, just four days before the photo went viral, shows Burrow with his usual shorter hair.
Unless he found a miraculous hair growth formula or is wearing a wig, it’s improbable that Burrow grew that much hair in such a short time.
The good news for Burrow is that if he ever wonders what he’d look like with longer hair, he now has an image to consider.
