Jimmy Kimmel couldn’t resist poking fun at Aaron Rodgers, seizing the opportunity to share his own humorous conspiracy theory on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
“I hate to do this because I’m not the conspiracy type,” the host said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.“
“But I have my own issues with Aaron Rodgers. I’ve spent the last couple of months looking into this, and I think it’s time to share something with the world. It’s going to shock you, so buckle in.”
Kimmel then delved into his theory, jokingly suggesting that Rodgers’ entire NFL career might have been a charade orchestrated by the “deep state.”

The first time he played in an NFL game was last year — the week before his first game with the Jets, Aaron’s body double, the guy who played every single game for him before this, died of COVID, and they had nobody dumb-looking enough to fill in,” he quipped.
“So they had to bring in the real Aaron Rodgers, and he had to go in and fake an injury on the third play of opening day. That’s why he only threw one pass.”
Wrapping up the bit, Kimmel emphasized the supposed credibility of his theory, comparing it humorously to Rodgers’ controversial comments about the Sandy Hook tragedy.
“Now, I know it sounds wild, but trust me, it’s more believable than some of Aaron Rodgers’ tall tales,” Kimmel joked.
Kimmel’s monologue came in the wake of a CNN report accusing Rodgers of denying the Sandy Hook tragedy, a claim vehemently denied by the quarterback.
The ongoing feud between Kimmel and Rodgers has been brewing for months, with Rodgers recently suggesting that Kimmel’s name might be linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Despite subsequent clarifications, the tension between the two remains palpable.
With Rodgers rumored as a potential running mate for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the upcoming presidential election, it’s likely that Kimmel will continue to find comedic fodder in their ongoing saga.
