Imagine being a fly on the wall.
Jimmy Kimmel recently regaled audiences with tales of a fun evening spent partying among some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The occasion?
A high-profile gathering at Paul McCartney’s Los Angeles residence. Kimmel shared these details during a lively session on “The Howard Stern Show,” where he appeared alongside his wife, Molly McNearney.
“The night started with an invite to a dinner party, and then things took an unexpected turn,” Kimmel explained. “The host of our dinner was also invited to Paul McCartney’s party and suggested we all head there together. So, that’s exactly what we did.”
Once at McCartney’s home, Kimmel clarified a misperception about the evening’s musical entertainment. “It wasn’t like Taylor was the DJ or anything formal. She just connected her iPhone to the house system to play some tunes,” he said, emphasizing that Swift was there to enjoy the party, not to work it.
Howard Stern, always keen on celebrity details, inquired about Swift’s company. “Yes, of course she was there with Travis Kelce,” Kimmel confirmed, with McNearney chiming in to add, “He’s very handsome.”
Curious about the activities, Stern asked if there was a jam session given the musical legends in attendance. Kimmel responded, “No jam session, but there was plenty of dancing, even in the kitchen where Molly joined in.”

The event was a veritable constellation of stars. “Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, and Courteney Cox were just some of the nearly 100 guests,” Kimmel recounted.
He described the surreal quality of the evening, saying, “At a party like this, you find yourself gravitating towards familiar faces just to say, ‘Can you believe we’re here?’”
Kimmel shared a light-hearted anecdote about a conversation he had with Bruce Springsteen. “We talked about everything from Elvis to life in Los Angeles.
Even Bruce was impressed by the party, commenting on what an amazing gathering it was.”
Meanwhile, McNearney provided her perspective on navigating such a star-studded event. “I ended up in a corner with Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, which was incredibly comforting amid the overwhelming glamour,” she remarked. “It was one of those parties where you’re constantly adjusting, not knowing how to stand, where to look, or how to act because everywhere you turned, there was another celebrity.”
The couple’s storytelling painted a vivid picture of a night filled with music, dance, and the pleasant disorientation that comes from sharing a space with an extraordinary lineup of celebrity guests.
