Jimmy Butler is undeniably one of the most captivating individuals in the world, and there’s a good reason for that.
The dating rumors surrounding Shakira and Jimmy Butler have become common knowledge. This all began after the pop icon’s split from her longtime partner, Gerard Pique. The breakup was so tumultuous that Shakira even released a diss track. However, the speculation regarding a romance between Jimmy Buckets and the Colombian singer began during the Miami Heat’s remarkable playoff run.
These rumors were fueled by the fact that Shakira is now a Miami resident herself. Recently, the 6-time NBA All-Star decided to address these speculations and set the record straight once and for all.
As the regular season approaches, ‘Himmy’ took some time for an interview with Rolling Stone. The conversation delved into numerous aspects of the life of the reigning Eastern Conference Finals MVP.
“There are rumors that you’re dating Shakira. Are they true?” asked the interviewer.” She’s an incredible human being and an incredible talent, but you never know what people are doing so people just make stuff up. Just because we are friends, she lives in Miami, and her sons are big basketball fans — that doesn’t mean anybody’s dating,” Butler said. He further added, “Just because people hang out doesn’t mean anybody’s dating. But it gives everybody something to talk about, so y’all take it and y’all run with it. She’s very, very cool and that’s all I got!”
Despite Jimmy’s firm denial, the possibility for him hasn’t entirely vanished. However, following this interview, speculations regarding his romantic involvement can finally be laid to rest as the next journey towards the Playoffs looms. Although what he stated might be seen as a matter of phrasing.

With the blockbuster trade that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Eastern Conference might be on the verge of witnessing the emergence of a super team. Throughout the entire summer, there was a strong belief that Dame-time was about to arrive in Miami. Nevertheless, for various reasons, the deal failed to materialize.
Right after the trade news made headlines, Jimmy Buckets turned to his Instagram. Clearly disheartened, the six-time All-Star left a comment, saying, “The NBA, man… y’all should investigate the Bucks for tampering. You didn’t hear it from me, but I heard it from someone.” While Butler is obviously not thrilled about the trade, it appears that the Bucks are positioned as favorites for the upcoming season. Will we witness another Playoff Jimmy spectacle? Or will the NBA succumb to the dominance of the Bucks?
