There’s certainly an air of awkwardness between Jim Harbaugh and Ryan Walters.
You might call this a “handshake” of sorts.
Michigan secured a 41-13 victory over Purdue on Saturday night, but it was the postgame interaction that caught everyone’s attention. As the players and coaches convened at midfield for the customary handshakes, it was glaringly evident how remarkably brief the exchange between Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh and Purdue’s head coach, Ryan Walters, was.

Earlier in the week, Purdue’s head coach, Ryan Walters, essentially admitted that he was aware of the Wolverines possibly stealing their signs:
“What’s crazy is they are allegations that it did happen. There’s video evidence. There’s ticket purchases and sales that can be tracked back. We know for a fact they were at a number of our games. So we had to teach our guys a new language in terms of some signals and move/operate differently,” Waters said.
With this win, Michigan extended their record to 9-0. The Wolverines currently hold the No. 3 spot in the nation according to the initial College Football Playoff rankings.
