After Michigan’s triumph over Alabama to secure a spot in the College Football Championship, the Harbaugh family has shared their sentiments.
Grace Harbaugh, Jim Harbaugh’s daughter, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday night to address critics and naysayers of Michigan amidst the team’s controversies and challenges over recent months. She wrote, “Evil Empire laughing all the way to the natty.”

Jim Harbaugh’s parents, Jack and Jackie Harbaugh, also weighed in on the victory. Expressing their excitement, they exclaimed, “Are you kidding me?! They won! What’s better than that?!” The couple believes that their superstitious seat change played a role in propelling Michigan to the Rose Bowl win.
The Wolverines faced a tumultuous 2023 season, beginning with Jim Harbaugh’s absence on the sidelines due to a self-imposed three-game suspension over recruiting violations. Subsequently, Harbaugh faced a suspension for the final three games of the season amid sign-stealing accusations involving staff members.
Despite the coaching staff shakeup and potential challenges, the players and assistant coaches stepped up in Harbaugh’s absence, securing victories against Maryland and Ohio and ultimately winning the Big Ten Championship against Iowa.
With Monday’s win, Michigan now prepares for a national championship showdown against Washington.
