Chris Streveler, who was a standout player during last season’s preseason for the Jets, was waived with an injury designation on Monday.
However, he was quickly brought back to the team the following day.
This worked out perfectly for Streveler, as he got to see himself featured on the premiere episode of this season’s “Hard Knocks,” which focuses on the Jets’ training camp.
Streveler’s girlfriend, Taylor Lavonne, playfully reacted to seeing him on the show in an Instagram story.

Last season, Streveler served as the No. 4 quarterback for the Jets, behind Zach Wilson, Joe Flacco, and Mike White.
He impressed during the preseason by leading two comeback victories and also had game time in a Thursday night match against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As of now, the Jets are expected to have four quarterbacks on their roster going forward: Aaron Rodgers, Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Chris Streveler.
Streveler, who is 28 years old, had the opportunity to step in for both Wilson and veteran Mike White during two games.
He completed 10-of-15 passes for 90 yards. However, he reportedly injured his thumb during last week’s Hall of Fame game, which resulted in a less successful performance with only 1 completion out of 7 passes and an interception.
