Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones finds himself embroiled in a legal battle over a paternity suit filed by a 27-year-old woman.
In a significant development, a Texas judge has upheld the order for Jones to undergo a paternity test to ascertain whether he is indeed the father of the woman, named Davis, who he denies paternity of.
According to reports from Dallas News, representing the plaintiff Alexandra Davis, expressed relief at the judge’s decision, stating that Davis will finally find some peace now that the order has been upheld. Hayes emphasized Davis’s desire to no longer conceal her truth or live in fear, hoping that others in similar situations will benefit from the judge’s adherence to the law.
Davis claims that her mother had a relationship with Jones in the late 1990s, resulting in her conception. Jones’s legal team, however, contends that Davis’ father is the man her mother was married to at the time of conception.

The lawsuit, initially filed in 2022, encountered a hurdle when Davis accused Jones and his associates of labeling her as an “extortionist.” Although Davis sued Jones for defamation, the suit was dismissed.
The next steps remain uncertain as we await Jones’s response to the ruling. It remains to be seen whether he will comply with the court’s order for a paternity test or seek to challenge the ruling in higher courts.
Undoubtedly, this legal saga is far from over, and further developments are expected to unfold in due course.
