Jerry Jones is more astute than he appears.
During his regular Friday appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admitted to something that many have suspected for a long time – he knows how to generate drama.
When asked if he’s surprised by the continued popularity of the Cowboys despite their Super Bowl drought, Jones responded, “I say this tongue in cheek, but if it gets a little slow, I know how to stir it up.”

From a neutral perspective, Jones’s comment is quite amusing, and it’s hard to fault him for being a shrewd businessman.
However, Cowboys fans don’t seem pleased with Jones’s remarks.
“I’m ever getting a championship,” one fan replied.
Another fan expressed, “We’re never gonna win with this man as owner.”
“Could stir it up by winning a Super Bowl, sir,” a third fan suggested.
Despite possessing the talent to contend for a Super Bowl this season, the Cowboys have struggled to deliver in critical moments. While they showcased their potential against the Eagles last Sunday, Dallas has historically faced challenges in clutch situations. Perhaps, there’s hope for a change later this season.
One thing is for sure – Jerry Jones thrives on attention, whether it’s positive or negative.
