Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, experienced a sudden cardiac arrest while working out on Monday.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition, no longer in the intensive care unit, according to a statement from the James family.
Following the news, there have been claims suggesting that this incident was a result of the COVID vaccine.
However, notable sports personality Jason Whitlock surprisingly does not support this theory.
In a Twitter post, he expressed his disbelief that LeBron or his family had actually taken the vaccine. He shared his opinion that most elite athletes would fake receiving the vaccine due to concerns about its rushed development.
“I don’t believe LeBron or his family took the vaccine. I believe most elite athletes faked taking the vaxx. No way men in prime physical health injected a rushed vaccine into their bodies. I refuse to believe that. That’s my conspiracy. I don’t know what happened to Bronny.”

Whitlock emphasized that he did not know what caused Bronny’s condition. He also floated a theory that LeBron could have bought a vax card.
“Fake vaxx cards were selling for $100. I’m sure LeBron has a personal doctor willing to hook him up. I’ll never believe LeBron and Tom Brady took the vaccine. No way.”

Meanwhile, another news story involving LeBron James emerged, where his younger son Bryce refused an uncomfortable request from a fan while shopping at Target. Social media was abuzz with the incident, and fans praised Bryce for his response.
Regarding Bronny’s cardiac arrest, TMZ reported that he was unconscious before being transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Additionally, audio obtained by the outlet captures a 911 dispatcher referring to Bronny as “unconscious.”
Bronny, LeBron’s oldest son, is set to begin his freshman year at the University of Southern California (USC). He announced his commitment to play basketball for the USC Trojans starting next season.
As a highly regarded recruit, the 18-year-old garnered a four-star rating after an outstanding high school career at Sierra Canyon. During his senior season, he averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, earning him the distinction of being named a McDonald’s All-American.
Like his father, Bronny also participated in the slam dunk competition at the high school showcase, marking a generational connection as James himself won the dunk contest 20 years prior as part of the McDonald’s All-American festivities. Bronny will become eligible for the NBA draft in 2024 when he turns 19.
